The fortified Šiauliai Cathedral, Lithuania. A few interesting facts are related to Šiauliai: battle of Saule between the Livonian Brothers of the Sword and pagan Samogitians and Semigallians was fought nearby on 22nd September 1236, the feast day of Saint Morris, the patron saint of the Livonian Order, a successor to the Livonian Brothers of the Sword after their defeat in this battle. The opinion exists that the relic of this saint is still kept in the cathedral.
