Ta' Kola Windmill in Xagħra, Gozo, Malta. This windmill was built by the Knights of St John in 1725. Most of windmills in Malta were built by the Order of St John as they were particularly important for the economy of the Order. Almost all the windmills were grain mills, however, the few of them were also used to produce gunpowder
