The view of Saint Anthony's Battery and its entrance, Gozo Island, Malta. It was built by the Order of St John in the 18th century to guard the channel between Gozo and Comino Islands. Due to the usage of the redan, a V-shaped angle projection towards a possible attack direction, and other sophisticated elements of the 18th century fortification the design of the battery is unique in the Maltese Islands
